Currently Daniel works as a Professor of Digital Business & Data Science at XU Exponential University of Applied Sciences and as a referent for Blockchain and Industry 4.0 Use Case with the Blockchain Reallabor and Fraunhofer-Institut für angewandte Informationstechnik.
In addition, he is freelancer at the RWTH Business School for Data Science with Machine Data and Industrial Cloud Security.
Formerly he was chief engineer, member of the management board and head of department at the Laboratory for Machine Tools and Production Engineering WZL of RWTH Aachen University and as Senior Industry Consultant at WZL Aachen GmbH.
His tasks included the digital transformation in the context of the Internet of Production. In his former life he also worked for ThyssenKrupp Forged Technologies (formerly ThyssenKrupp Gerlach).
